The safety and well-being of players and officials remain our highest priority. In light of this, the PCB has collaborated with local security agencies, who have assured an increase in security personnel around the playing areas at all venues. Additionally, tighter access control measures will be implemented to ensure the safety of everyone involved.
The individual responsible for the intrusion was apprehended and brought before a court of law on Tuesday. As a result, the individual has been permanently banned from all cricket venues in Pakistan.
To safeguard against similar occurrences, the PCB is actively working alongside security agencies and venue authorities to thoroughly review and reinforce existing security protocols, ensuring that future events are conducted without incident.
